In partnership with New Song Academy, The Purple Tape chronicles the tale of four young hip hop heads in search of Raekwon The Chef's “Purple Tape” in order to win tickets to the hip hop concert of the year. With a script written by and a show directed by Wordsmith, The Purple Tape was also performed at the Reginald F Lewis Museum.
